**HighGarden Tower** in New Rochelle is a 21-story residential building that epitomizes the city's dedication to affordable housing. This development offers a total of 219 residential units, with 133 units designated as affordable rentals for households earning at or below 80% of Westchester County's Area Median Income. The apartment options include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units.
The building boasts a variety of amenities aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life, such as a learning center, playground, incubator space, and a large parking garage. The construction also incorporates advanced techniques, including Smith-Midland Corporation's SlenderWall system, which provides durability, energy efficiency, and ease of installation with lightweight precast concrete panels.
HighGarden Tower is conveniently located close to public transportation. Notably, 77 of the apartments are reserved for survivors of domestic violence, providing them with a safe and supportive living environment.
The project was developed by Georgica Green Ventures, LLC. The General Contractor is West 20th Construction LLC. The co-developer is New Destiny House Corporation. All the units will be affordable.
